The Story

Hyloxalus azureiventris

Line: Sean Stuart

F0 original Peru bloodstock, offerings are F1

Hyloxalus azureiventris hail from Peru and are dubbed the sky blue poison frog. These are beautiful frogs that have a shiny black skin with beautiful teal to turquoise lines and yellow reticulation near the face, although they greatly differ in phenotype at times. This frog is moderately bold, and does excellently in groups, probably some of the best for group candidates. They get bolder with age and exposure, like others of their species. Additional information can be found, of course, through our complimentary Encyclopedia Database: DendroKnow Project.
